Square blinking issue

I love the ChessUp 2 board — it’s a perfect experience. However, after about three months of use, I’ve started experiencing an issue. The board occasionally blinks with different colors and highlights incorrect squares when I’m trying to make a move.

It seems like there may be a problem with one of the squares — possibly a soldering issue. I’ve recorded a short video demonstrating the problem: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/N37tt9F4oSQ . When I touch the specific square, the issue starts occurring, and if I keep touching it, the issue goes away.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

We can repair / replace this. Sorry for the slow reply. info@bryghtlabs.com is the customer service email with 7 day a week service.

The LEDs are in a chain - so if one goes bad it affects everything down stream from that LED (hence why all the move lights would shift, etc).

It is likely there is a fractured solder joint and it is causing intermittent contact on this board. Very rare issue but it can happen. We will be able to replace/repair as needed.
