Unable to connect to chess.com with chessup 2

Hi,

I received my brand new chessup2 yesterday and still haven’t been able to connect it to chesscom despite numerous attempts.

First of all, when I reach the chesscom login page on the chessup app (initiated from the chessup2), the fields for username and password are not responsive so I can’t type anything in. The sign in button and the ones to login with a linked account are working though. So I tried to sign in with a google account. It seemed to work until I got the error message “Error getting credentials”.

I tried it about a dozen times already. Resetting the board, turning it on and of again, reupdating… nothing seem to work. Please help !

By the way I have just tried signing in on lichess and it was flawless !

I’d still like to connect my chesscom account though.

Did you submit a ticket for this? This sounds like one that I have been looking into

Working through the issue, it turns out that the version of Chrome needed to be up to date. Please make sure to update the Play Store and Chrome applications
