Multiple Users -

I’ve searched and not seen this anywhere. My interpretation is ChessUp 2 will grow as your ability does? ie you play a lot, get better & the bot will adjust accordingly.

Assuming this is correct, we have this at my house, my wife is new to chess, I’m more advanced. Is there a way to be able to have it distinguish who’s who? So if I play a bunch it doesn’t adjust to my level when she’s playing?

Hi - you can select a level of assistance at the start of each game for each side, so it is selected manually.

For adaptive bots (not released yet), the board will have separate accounts for each user, and you would select your account before playing a bot.

thanks

Slowly figuring it out - playing the chess.com bots now. I played chess as a kid and was ok, haven’t played in decades, so refreshing myself vs the bots before I get involved in player-player

Oh cool - next week we expect to release our lessons section and that should also be a feature you enjoy. Only ~30 lessons to start but we will turn it into 100+ as fast as we can.

oh for sure - I’ve been looking around for that sort of thing - mostly it’s YT videos which are good but prefer to play. I think you’ll only get so good playing straight up games without lessons/scenarios to train your thinking.
