For Dutch IOS I also used formal. I chose formal as I imagened the larger part of the target group would prefer that.

I guess for ChessUp 2 there are new localizations or maybe the old ones need a revision.

Yes, Korean is read from left to right, just like English 
The french accents appear as squares. Like é and è are going to be the most common.
In 1.7.3 the Spanish translation of “Blitz” in ChessCom screen is really odd.
“Bombardeo Aéreo” means “Air Strike” (literally “Aerial Bombardment”) 
A better text is to keep it just as “Blitz” (it’s what Chess.com site does) or, if you prefer to translate it, a good translation is “Relámpago” (for instance it is used in Wikipedia pages).
Also “Rápida” would be better than “Rápido”, as that’s the way you would say if you prepend the noun “partida” (game or match), as in “Partida rápida” (Rapid game). The same for Blitz, “Partida relámpago”. If you’re wondering for Blitz game, “Partida relámpaga” is just bad, the good translation is “Partida relámpago”, as “Relámpago” is a masculine noun. I know, Spanish may be weird sometimes.

Also there are some missing translations (ChessCom screen):
“Play” → “Jugar”
For “Play Bots” and “Play a Friend” the translations would be “Jugar contra Bots” and “Jugar contra un amigo” but they would not fit in one line. If you’re wondering, “Jugar Bots” or “Jugar Amigos” or “Jugar un amigo” would be bad translations grammatically speaking.
So I suggest to keep it simple and just translate them as:
“Play Bots” → “Bots”
“Play a Friend” → “Amigos”
Another suggestion, for the main screen, “Configuración” can be changed to the synonym “Ajustes”, so it fits in one line in the button.
“Ajustes” is an appropriate translation, for instance it is used for the Settings app in mobile phones.
Another improvement, in ChessCom Bots screen, “Avanzado” would be a better translation than “Avanzada”, keeping consistency for the grammatical gender like in “Adaptativo”. This is odd because in ChessCom site they translate it the same way as you do (maybe that’s a translation coming from their side, in this case just ignore this improvement). Seems like ChessCom site also have some bad or missing translations (in their site “Musicians” bots for instance are not translated to “Músicos”).
Others texts I remember are the end game texts, by time and by stalemate can be improved.
“By time” in Spanish is “por tiempo”, currently it displays as “a tiempo”, which is not grammatically incorrect but looks strange.
When a stalemate happens, the board says just draw or “Tablas”. That can be improved adding the reason in the subtitle. “Tablas” (Draw) for the title and “Rey ahogado” as the reason (Spanish translation for “Stalemate”).

Hahaha funny! I am also a native Spanish speaker but for whatever reason I left the board in English, so I missed this haha

Please informal pronouns for German translation. Here in Austria, when yo go to a chess event you use informal pronouns even to people you have never seen before. At least here where I live. I think it may be the same in Germany, even though Germans seem to be more formal than Austrians 
I just saw that in the German translation Rapid is translated with Blitz. Should be Schnellschach. Blitz is Blitz. Bullet should be Bullet too I guess. Nobody says he plays Kugel
