I updated and calibrated my chessup board but I’m having issues with pieces being detected. Picture attached. Not sure what to do here.
Troubleshooting steps attempted so far by doing some digging online:
Tried updating the firmware 3x and turned the board off/on after every update.
Tried calibrating 4+ times after making sure the battery was fully charged, and waiting 30 minutes for the board to acclimate to the temp in the room.
No change.
I hope there isn’t anything wrong with the board.
This may be a defective unit. We will replace for you.
Our defect rate is very low but not zero - we get occasional issues with damaged connectors/intermittent connectors.
