Long Queue Times?

Hello,

I’ve been playing on ChessUp 2 for a while and an issue I have pretty frequently is long queue times. I typically queue up 10|0 or 10|5 rapid and often find myself in a queue that lasts for minutes at a time, sometimes never successfully finding a match.

Are we paired against other players using ChessUp 2’s or is it the general population on chess.com? When playing on the website I’ve never waited more than 5-10 seconds for a game. Is there something I can do on my end to shorten this queue time? Queueing into no one makes me not want to use this product which feels bad. For reference the ELO search is ~1000.

True. Its not really a good workaround but Jeff said that they are going to fix it

Also happening to me lately, usually several minutes for a 10|5 game, if more than a minute elapsed, probably it won’t find any game and I have to restart the board, also happens with 15|10, a bit less frequently.

This was an temporary issue on our end - programmers are on it.

Game seek times should be very quick and you should expect them to be quick. If they every stall, please do report it here (just like you did)

Just tried a blitz game and no delay in getting a game on chesscom :+1:

I had a delay today, it aeems it comes and go and that turning off and on the chessup helps but not solving it.

Play 3/0 rated and you won’t have to wait more than a couple of sec’s…of course, you will lose every game.
